We believe that powerful ideas should not be held back by a lack of resources or social inequality. AxisIP Inspire is our dedicated pro bono initiative designed to support charities, non-profits, university students and social entrepreneurs who are working to make a positive impact in their communities and the world. Through this initiative, we provide expert intellectual property (IP) and commercialisation support—at no cost—to those driving purpose-led innovation.
Charities, not for profits and social ventures often create unique brands, technologies, and service models that have significant value and potential. However, navigating the IP landscape and building a sustainable commercial strategy can be complex and financially out of reach for many in the impact sector. Axis IP Inspire aims to close this gap by providing tailored legal and strategic support that enables these organisations to protect, leverage and scale their ideas with confidence.
Through Inspire, we assist selected applicants with:
Trade Mark Strategy and Registration – Identifying and protecting brand assets that distinguish their cause.
Intellectual Property Reviews – Ensuring that creative and technological outputs are recognised and protected appropriately.
Commercialisation Roadmaps – Offering guidance on sustainable growth models, licensing, and partnerships.
Workshops and Mentoring – Building capability through education on IP fundamentals, commercialisation opportunities and strategic decision-making.
Successful applicants work directly with our experienced IP team and commercialisation advisors, receiving the same level of care, insight, and professionalism we apply to our commercial clients. We prioritise projects that demonstrate a clear commitment to positive social or environmental outcomes, with a focus on innovation, collaboration, and long-term impact.
